As of June 1, 2021, new decisions have been taken regarding flights to Turkey from abroad. An announcement was made for the passengers on the Turkish Airlines (THY) website regarding the decision taken.
In line with the decisions taken, the submission of a negative PCR test report made no more than 72 hours before the arrival time in Turkey from persons coming from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brazil, South Africa, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and persons who are understood to have been in these countries in the last 14 days will be requested. In addition, these people will be quarantined for 14 days in places to be determined by the governorates. It was stated that the flight bans to Brazil and South Africa ended within this framework.
Persons coming to Turkey from the United Kingdom, Iran, Egypt and Singapore will be required to submit a PCR test report with a negative result at most 72 hours before entry.
Passengers coming from other countries other than certain countries, on the other hand, are required to submit a negative PCR test report separately from those who submit a document issued by the relevant country’s official authorities stating that they were vaccinated at least 14 days before entry and/or that the Covid-19 disease was passed within the last 6 months. and quarantine measures will not be applied for these people.
In the event that the vaccination certificate or the documents proving the disease cannot be presented when entering Turkey from these countries, the PCR test report with a negative result maximum 72 hours before the entry or the submission of the negative rapid antigen test result maximum 48 hours before the entry will be deemed sufficient.
