It is being debated who CHP (Republic People’s Party) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu voted for when asked by the Chairman of the Homeland Party (Memleket Partisi), Muharrem İnce, whom he nominated for the presidency in 2018, “Why didn’t you vote for me?”
In his speech at the opening of his party’s Tekirdağ Provincial Presidency, İnce made evaluations about the CHP, which nominated him in the presidential elections on June 24, 2018. Ince said, “They don’t want me to get many votes. They didn’t spend money. They did not spend the Treasury money they received from the state, they kept it in the safe. After the election was over, they spent money to win the congress,” he said.
Indicating that he was asked why he left the CHP, Ince said that he had been fighting for 42 years, that he had given up and said, “I cannot fight your intrigues.”
After Ince‘s statement that “you didn’t vote for me“, the debate on who Kılıçdaroğlu voted for came to the agenda. It was a matter of curiosity for whom Kılıçdaroğlu voted. Backstage, this statement said, “Did Kılıçdaroğlu vote for Meral Akşener, the candidate of the IYI Party, or Selahattin Demirtaş, the candidate of the HDP?” brought his comments.
Former Halk TV General Manager Şaban Sevinç announced that he received censorship calls from the CHP about Muharrem Ince not broadcasting his rallies during the Presidential elections when he was the head of Halk TV.
